Activity Description: The blue cave is synonymous with snorkeling and diving in Okinawa, a world-famous blue cave located at Cape Maeda in Onna, Okinawa, Japan. This limestone cliff features sea caves formed by erosion along the lower rocky shore. When sunlight enters the cave, it reflects off the white sandy seabed, creating a mesmerizing blue glow, hence the name "Blue Cave". Each snorkeling instructor can lead up to 8 participants, while each scuba diving instructor can lead up to 2 participants. The instructor will guide you into dimly lit caves where dreamy blue lights shimmer on the water's surface and abundant fish swim below—this magical scenery helps dispel any fear of the ocean. Reminder: 1. Travelers with circulatory/respiratory diseases, high blood pressure, epilepsy, diabetes, ear/nose conditions, liver diseases, hangovers, or those who have consumed alcohol on the day cannot participate in the itinerary. If you feel unwell, please contact us before the activity date. If participants are found ineligible on the activity day, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the reservation without refund or rescheduling. Your understanding is appreciated! 2. Female participants may use tampons to join this itinerary during menstruation ※ No free cancellations or changes can be requested due to menstruation! 3. If sea conditions are rough on the day and access to the Blue Cave dive site is not possible, the activity may be temporarily changed to another dive site, with no refunds or rescheduling available. Fill out the disclaimer & change clothes 3. Depart for the Blue Cave entry point and take the free shuttle bus (5-min ride) 4. Arrive at the entry point for a safety briefing and instruction 5. Swim to the Blue Cave (approx. 10 mins) 6. The guide leads into the dimly lit cave. 7. Return to the store (the store has warm showers, changing rooms, and a dressing area with hair dryers) 8. Tour ends Group Restrictions: adult : 10–60 years old child : 6–9 years old Snorkeling age: 6-60 years, scuba diving age: 10-60 years. Other age groups cannot be accommodated. Participants under 18 must be registered and accompanied by a guardian aged 20 or above, and the guardian must sign the registration form. Terms and conditions
To avoid decompression sickness, those planning to take flights on the same day cannot participate. Please wait 12-24 hours before boarding a flight. If, on the day of the activity, it is found that a participant does not meet the activity requirements, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the traveler's reservation without refund. When registering, please provide the full name, age, gender, height, weight, foot size, and request for nearsighted diving goggles with prescription for all participants. Pregnant women cannot participate. If participation is denied on the day due to pregnancy, no refund will be issued. Please wear your swimwear before gathering. Male participants should wear board shorts or surfing shorts, and bring your own slippers, sunscreen, towel, and change of clothes. ※Some women may wish to wear shorts or T-shirts over their swimwear, but since the diving suit is quite tight, wearing extra clothing underneath may cause discomfort and is therefore not recommended. Minors require a signed consent form from a family member. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If the waves are calm on the day, snorkeling is possible even in the rain. If you cancel due to rain, rescheduling or a refund will not be possible. If sea conditions are rough on the day and access to the Blue Cave dive site is not possible, the activity may be temporarily changed to another location, and no refunds will be provided. We appreciate your understanding. Depending on the sea conditions, the itinerary may be changed to access the Blue Cave via walking beach or canceled entirely. In case of force majeure such as typhoons or poor sea conditions where the organizer cancels or reschedules the activity, travelers will be notified via email. Those with myopia can prepare their own daily disposable contact lenses. If any companion holds a diving certification, please note the certification level when booking. The fee is the same as for deep diving (experience diving). Each snorkeling instructor can lead up to 8 participants, while each scuba diving instructor can lead up to 2 participants. After the activity, you can shower and wash up in the store. If you cannot arrive at the meeting location on time, it will be considered as a same-day cancellation with no refunds or changes allowed. Travelers who fail to comply with staff instructions may be denied participation in this itinerary by the organizer. Guests can rent underwater cameras on-site. Please arrange on-site to have photos and videos transferred to your mobile device, as they will be deleted after the activity.
