What to Expect
Filmed in 1954, the film was the filming location for the Japanese masterpiece Twenty-Four Eyes, which has since been remade frequently. The 1950s are said to be the golden age of Japanese cinema, and one of its buildings presents some of its works in galleries, the writer Tsuboi Sakae Literary Museum, a small theater, and the Book Café, which focuses on film and art.
