Descriptions
1. Before booking: We recommend contacting customer support to confirm ticket availability for your desired time slot on the travel date.
2. After receiving your request, we will check the ticket availability for that day and attempt to reserve seats for you (reservations are required in advance for the Yufuin no Mori scenic train, and tickets can only be issued after successful reservation).
3. If the seat reservation is successful, we will notify you. After confirmation, we will issue your e-ticket with a QR code. Once issued, this booking cannot be refunded or modified.
4. You can collect your tickets at the JR staffed counter or ticket machine in the train station using the QR code we provide.
5. Optional meals can be purchased after buying your ticket. Please note that purchases made less than 3 days in advance will not be valid. The meal voucher will be linked to your ticket. Simply present your meal voucher at the dining car when boarding to redeem and enjoy your meal.
What to Expect
The Yufuin Forest Sightseeing Train takes about two and a half hours to connect the bustling city of Hakata with the hot spring resort of Beppu in Kyushu. The emerald green appearance of the train is eccentric, galloping in the forest plateau like a flying fairy. Warm wood-colored interiors look classic and natural. Passing through the quiet and pleasant Yufuin along the route, her purity, uniqueness, and enthusiasm are vividly displayed on this sightseeing train, and it is a completely idyllic scene. The beautiful natural scenery along the way and the green body echo each other, which is very harmonious. From the step of stepping into the forest of Yufuin, the dreamy leisure journey has already begun.
